This chocolate and whole wheat cakes are very nutricious and tasty. Kids and your guests would just love it.
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup low-fat milk
2-ounce light olive oil
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 Tablespoon baking soda
How to prepare
Beat eggs and sugar in a small bowl until it gets pate and creamy. Add vanilla essence and beat again.
Sift cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and flour over egg mixture. Fold into egg mixture until it gets combined.
Stir in milk and oil until it gets combined.
Add walnuts and raisins now.
Take a large pan and brush it well with oil and sift flour.
Put the mixture into the pan and top up with more walnuts.
Bake at 170 degrees celsius for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
