1/4 Cup sunflower seeds
1 Cup almonds
1-1/2 Cups pitted dates or raisins
18-20 Whole strawberries
1/2 Cup pineapple chunks
1 Tablespoon grated coconut
How to prepare
Place the sunflower seeds and almonds in a food processor, and blend until finely ground. Set aside.
Place the dates or raisins in a food processor, add blend to form a paste. Add the ground seeds and nuts through the feed tube. Blend until the mixture.
Press the mixture evenly on the bottom and sides of a lightly oiled 8-inch pie pan. And, chill it.
Combine 2/3 of the strawberries and one banana in a food processor, and blend until the fruit is pureed. Set aside.
Cut the remaining, strawberries, banana, and kiwis into small spices. Spoon the sliced strawberries, banana and kiwis and the pineapple chunks into the pie crust, pour the pureed mixture over the sliced fruit, and top with the coconut. Chill for one hour.
