Ingredients
500 gms Chicken
4-5 tomatoes (chopped)
5-6 flakes Garlic (minced)
3 Green chilies
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
A pinch of Saffron
2 cardamoms black
2 bay leaves
4 tbsp Ghee
Juice of 1 big lemon
3 cups rice
4 Onions (sliced)
1 piece ginger (minced)
1/2 Bunch coriander leaves (Chopped)
3 cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
How to prepare
Clean and wash the chicken pieces. Put them into a pressure Cooker along with little water, saffron, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until chicken is done. When done, cool and open the pressure cooker. Wash and drain the rice. Heat ghee and whole garam masala and sliced onions saute until brown. Add ginger and garlic fry for a minute, and then add tomatoes, whole green chilies coriander leaves, cook until tomatoes are done. Add salt, fried ingredients and required water to chicken, bring to a boil add rice and Lime Juice. Cover and cook till rice is done. Serve hot.
