Khichdi



Method: Pick, wash and soak dal and rice for half an hour. Add soaked dal, rice, salt,
turmeric powder to pressure pan and cook till done. Open the pressure pan and cook until
well mixed.(add more water if required). Heat ghee in a frying pan fry cumin seeds, ginger
and green chillies. Add pepper and chili powder stir and pour over the rice and dal mixture.
Garnished it with coriander leaves along with curd. When it is done serve hot...
