Classic Borshch


Method: Bring the water to a boil, then add the beets, carrots, tomatoes, onions, and bay leaf. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.Add the greens, lemon juice, sweetener, salt, and black pepper. Stir for about 5 more minutes or until the greens are tender. Remove the bay
leaf. Serve hot or cold.
