Moong Dal


 

For garnishing: Green coriander leaves

 

Method: Pick, clean and wash dal. Add dal, water, salt and turmeric powder, in a heavy bottomed  pan stir and bring it to boil on high flame and then continue to cook on low flame till tender and well mixed. When done remove from flame. Heat ghee in a frying pan fry cumin seeds add garam masala, coriander powder and red chilli power stir and pour it over cooked dal. Serve hot garnished with green coriander leaves and lime juice to taste.
