Mumbai style delicious Pav bhaji


Ingredients

12 Small buns of bread

6 L0gm tomatoes

160gm of boiled peeled and crushed potatoes

100gm minced onions

10gm green chillies

100gm butter

150gm carrots

French beans

Cauliflower and peas

50gm chopped coriander leaves

5gm chilli powder

5gm ginger and garlic paste

2gm cumin seeds

2gm garam masala

2gm pav bhaji masala

How to prepare

Heat half the butter in a frying pan and add cumin seeds and green chillies. When they turn brown, add minced onions.

Keep stirring, and add the mashed vegetables while adding water. Continue to mash from time to time. When almost cooked and well mashed, add more butter, chilli powder, garam masala, salt and pav bhaji masala. Mix well.

Now, slit the buns horizontally into two portions joined along one long edge. Smear with remaining butter and grill or fry on a griddle on both sides.

Garnish bhaji with coriander leaves and serve with hot buns with lemon wedges and onion slices.
