Restaurant Like Butter Chicken At Home


800 gms Chicken
2 Tablespoon ginger paste
3/4 Tablespoon Garlic paste
2 Cloves
2 Tablespoon Cashew-nut paste
1/2 Cup Cream
1 Green chili (chopped)
400 gms Tomatoes
4 Green cardamoms
1 Stick cinnamon
3/4 Tablespoon Red chili powder
2 Tablespoon Butter

Salt to taste

For Garnishing
Few Ginger (slices)
Few Coriander leaves

How to prepare

Wash and cut the chicken into eight pieces. Heat butter in a heavy bottomed pan. Fry green chili, ginger and garlic paste add tomatoes, cashew-nut paste and all dry spices, cook till the masala is done. Add chicken pieces, fry for 10 minutes along with the masala. Add one cup of hot water, cover and cook till the chicken is done.
Add cream simmer over low flame for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot garnished with ginger slices and coriander leaves.
