Ingredients
250 gms Arbi (Colcohia) medium-size
1/2 Tablespoon Red chili powder
1/2 Tablespoon Thyme (Ajwain)
2 Tablespoon poppy seeds
1 Tablespoon ginger paste
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
3/4 Tablespoon Garam masala
1 Tablespoon Mango powder
2 Green chilies (sliced)
How to prepare
Boil and peel Arbi. Deep fry in hot oil until it becomes golden and crisp. Remove and keep aside.
Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, fry poppy seeds until light brown in color and add the all spices with salt.
Drop in fried Arbi pieces. Mix well. Sprinkle a little water so that masala sticks to Arbi well. Garnish with green chilies and serve hot.
