Ingredients
1-1/2 lb. Apples, cored and diced
1-1-1/2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Teaspoon lemon zest
3 Tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 Maple Syrup
1/2 lb. fresh dates, pitted
1 Teaspoon sesame seeds
Lemon balm, mint, or lemon geranium leaves to garnish
How to prepare
Cook the apples with the lemon juice, zest and maple Syrup until the fruit is soft. You may need to add a little water. Let it cool.
In a blender, blend the dates and apples together until light and fluffy. Stir in the sesame seeds. Spoon the mousse into four dessert glasses, and chill it. Garnish with lemon juice balm, mint or lemon geranium leaves.
