Ingredients
500 gms Chicken
1 Stick cinnamon
2 Green chilies
1 Tablespoon Ghee
2 Tablespoon Kewra essence
Salt to taste
6-7 Green cardamoms
1/2 Tablespoon cumin seeds
100 gms Cashew-nuts
2 Tablespoon cream
2 Tablespoon Kasoori methi
1/2 Tablespoon Garam masala
How to prepare
Clean, wash and cut a chicken into small and equal size pieces. By using little water, grind green cardamoms, cinnamon, cumin seeds, green chilies and cashew-nuts to a fine paste.
Heat ghee in a pan and gently fry cashew-nut paste for 3-4 minutes. Add cream, salt, garam masala, and chicken pieces. Stir well, cover and cook till the chicken pieces are half done. Add Kewra essence, Kasoori methi, and little warm milk if the masala is too dry. Cover again with a tight-fitting lid and cook till the chicken is completely done. Serve hot with roti or parantha.
