Ingredients
4 (app. 500 gms) Cauliflower
1" piece Ginger (crushed)
7-8 piece cashew nuts (Powdered)
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2-3 Green cardamoms (crushed)
Salt to taste
250 gms peas (shelled and boiled)
2 Onions (sliced)
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds (roasted)
1/2 Tablespoon Red chili powder
1 Stick cinnamon
3-4 Cloves (powdered)
Oil for frying
For Garnishing
1/2 cup paneer (grated)
Few coriander leaves
How to prepare
Wash and cut off the main stalk of cauliflower and keep in salted hot water for 10 minutes. Remove and fry cauliflower in hot oil until light brown in color. When done, keep aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry onions till golden brown in color. Add all the masalas, salt, poppy seeds, ginger, cashew nut powder, cardamoms, peas, and fried cauliflower. Mix well. Cover and cook for five minutes.
Serve hot garnished with grated paneer and coriander leaves.
