Butter Naan



Method: Sieve the flour add salt and sugar. Rub in the butter well. Mix baking powder with curd. Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and put the curd in it. Mix well. Make a soft dough with milk, (use a litre water if required). Knead well for 5 minutes. Add ghee and knead again. Keep the dough covered for 4-5 hours to rise. Make a mixture of 2 teaspoon ghee, poppy seeds and kalonji for the topping. Divide the dough into equal size balls and shape into naans. Apply a little of the topping mixture on each naan. Stick the naan in a heated tandoor and cook till done. Serve hot.
